Friends of Alderbury and West Grimstead School

FAWGS is a group of very hardworking parents who meet regularly to plan and run events. These are partly social events - often family-based such as a Barn Dance or a Bingo Night – sometimes more for parents, such as the recent Quiz Night – and very often they are fund-raising events, generating valuable income to spend for the benefit of the children.

FAWGS subsidise the cost of many class trips and exciting events such as theatre performances in school. Money is also spent on a wide variety of equipment and resources to enrich the children’s experience at school. FAWGS have purchased a suite of 25 Laptop computers in the past 2 years - a much needed resource!
