• Maths Support at Home

  Check out the new "White Rose" Support Workbooks on the "Class Pages" (under the Children Tab)... for a series of workbooks to help your child progress through Maths this year! There are even answers in the back too! It also helps you, as parents, to see how "maths" is set out / taught at school these days!

• Work during Self-Isolation

  If you are needing to self-isolate, you can access a selection of online lessons, provided by the Department for Education's "Oak National Academy". These lessons can be found here.

   

  Please refer to the whole school curriculum map, and pick out lessons relevant to your child's year group / project. Please also see the individual class pages for further information.

  
  If a local lock-down is necessary in the local area, we will revert to online learning, as per the summer term and details will be circulated to all parents and pupils.

• Welcome from Miss Hodgson - Deputy Headteacher

  I hope you have all had a lovely summer break.  I would just like to introduce myself: I am Andrea Hodgson and am delighted to be joining Alderbury and West Grimstead School as Deputy Headteacher. Although I spent several days here at the end of the last academic year, I am yet to meet many of you so please do say 'Hello' at the gate!  I am very much looking forward to working with you and your children at this wonderful school!

  We have been delighted to welcome back 96.5% pupils to the school today! 

  
  A fantastic achievement and a massive "Well done" to our new "Owls" (Reception Class). 

   

  Everyone came in beautifully and looked so smart. 

   

  We are working on speeding up the routine for arrivals - Thank you for bearing with us, whilst we work hard to get it right to keep everyone safe!

   

  Please remember to only bring essential items to school.
